Transitions

We live one life, but it is a numerical number of transitions and changes. We will all have a final count, measurable in varieties of ways. Numerically speaking, we will each live our own capturing of seconds, minutes, hours, day and years. We are our own unique creations as individuals, yet an intermixing of so much and so many.

It is interesting to me how one transition can encompass so much collectively, yet exist as a moment in in a large window of time.

I consider tomorrow a pivotal point in the spectrum of a transition. I'm a creature of habit and accustomed to familiarity, but know tomorrow is really the start of a shift I have long anticipated. Although tomorrow is officially my second day of work in my new position as an admissions representative, it is a first, because it is the first day of training, at a  different campus location from where I was the first day.

I'm of course a variety of emotions and processes. Excited, nervous, curious, detail-oriented and ready, to name a few.

I do still have some stuff to do, before I hit the road for my first morning commute, although I still confidently feel I can say I am ready for tomorrow. I got my supplies to pack my lunch and picked up a quart of oil to top off the ol' van. It's been a great summer, my first pretty much ever as a non-student. It's been busy, with the weeks passing by working full-time as a server, job searching in my field, trying to connect with friends and family, making time for the local lakes and pools, giving patio gardening a go, and just generally enjoying a Minnesota summer for what it is :D

Well, I should wrap this up. I am shooting for 9 hours of sleep to kick off my day tomorrow and don't have much more to say other than bring on the journey!

Fresh Blog....as in the first

Welp, I'm back at it, I guess is what I can now say, as I start to type this first sentence of my 2nd series of blogging. The first trip around the blogging sun, occurred while/about my interning experiences, living and learning for 5 months in Port Elizabeth, South Africa in the second part of 2010. My first go at blogging was a really pleasant experience, teaching me a few of the basics (barely scratched the surface) of blogging.

With a new year (2011-half over) and a new phase of life(post-college), I am ready and in the mind frame to get blog 2 going. So here I am, living and working in Shakopee, MN; getting ready to start my first professional position (Admissions Representative) "in my field". Life, Love & Learning is what I'm calling it (this blog and the general experience of living), because I truly feel a life well lived is a life lived pursuing a little bitta life, love and learning each day!

So stay tuned! Cause I've still got plenty to figure out and post  (pictures, reflections, stories and thoughts)and with Life, Love & Learning you just never know what you are going to get!
